Gateway Village is home to the largest parking deck in the Southeast. Located at 700 West Trade Street, the garage is bordered by Gateway Plaza condominiums on Trade Street and Gateway Place apartments on Fifth Street. This deck features more than 2,400 parking spaces with ample parking ratios of up to three-to-four spaces per 1,000 square feet, equaling those ratios found in suburban areas. The deck has 24-hour security with roving patrol and monitored security cameras, as well as emergency alarms connected to a central security command center located at 800 West Trade.
Two surface lots also provide additional parking at Gateway Village. These lots are located just west of the 900 West Trade building and are monitored by roving patrol and security cameras.
The Gateway Village Parking Facility uses a “hands-free” access control system to create a fast, friendly and safe operation. Monthly parkers are issued access cards that will raise gates to let them enter and exit.
Monthly parkers are able to park in any non-reserved, legal space on any of the facility’s eight levels. Please remember that there are several types of reserved spaces or areas on each level that are enforced at all times. Each of these restricted spaces is indicated as such and should be avoided.
Visitor Parking
Parking Rates are posted upon entering the Parking Deck. The first 30 minutes are free; and $1 for every half hour. The maximum charge per day is $10. After 9:00 p.m., there is no charge for parking.
